Omar Aguilar on Role Models

Omar Aguilar's biggest role model didn't have electricity growing up. He didn't have running water. He started working at age 5.

That was Omar's father, a boy from a small town in Michoacán who left home at 13, alone, for Mexico City, a city of 20 million people. He became a teacher. Then a lawyer. And he taught Omar the lesson that shaped everything: work hard, stay focused on the end goal, and never stop getting educated.
